We passed along word nine months ago, during this past April, that an Amazon.com pre-order listing shows a June 5th (2015) release date in North America for Top Gear - The Complete Season 22 on DVD. At the time we noted the controversy going on with co-host Jeremy Clarkson leaving the show, and perhaps it was because of that controversy...but the title never actually came out. Instead the item just quietly "went away" for a while, and was never formally announced by the studio.

Well, we still do NOT have official word from BBC Home Entertainment, and so we can't say with any surety that this new date for the title is correct or not. But www.odvdo.com has revived that listing for Top Gear - The Complete Season 22, and updated it with a new release date of May 3, 2016. Cost shown is $34.98 SRP for a 4-disc set. Package art isn't available yet, but they do have the following description:
