Last October we had the heads-up report about the second season set being on-the-way, but since then the studio has made it official:
RLJ Entertainment's Acorn Brand is releasing The Fall - Series 2 on DVD this coming March 1st, with six episodes on a 2-disc set for $39.99 SRP. It comes with bonus material that includes a Behind-the-Scenes Featurette (12 min.), Deleted Scenes (9 min.), and a Photo Gallery. English subtitles are also included.
When RLJ/Acorn released the first series to North America in late 2013, it was only available on DVD. But The Fall - Series 2 will come out with a high-def Blu-ray Disc, also on 2 discs, and with the same contents, AND for the same $39.99 SRP price....but with English 5.1 DTS-HD Master Audio as well. It will be available on the same day as the DVD.
And, to make up for the missing high-def version of the first season, RLJ's Acorn brand is ALSO release on March 1st a two-disc set of The Fall - Series 1 on Blu-ray Disc! It contains the first 5 episodes of the show, supported by English subtitles and English 5.1 DTS-HD Master Audio, plus a bonus Behind-the-Scenes Featurette. Cost on that will also be $39.99 SRP.
