Doctor Who - Release Date for '2015 Christmas Special' and 'The Complete 9th Series'

A week ago today we had the heads-up report that BBC Home Entertainment was already working on DVD and Blu-ray Disc releases of both Doctor Who - The Husbands of River Song: 2015 Christmas Special and also Doctor Who - The Complete 9th Series. We didn't expect to have actual street dates for you quite this quickly, but odvdo.com has now updated their listings with those dates!
In either format, Doctor Who - The Husbands of River Song: 2015 Christmas Special will be a single-disc title that's available on February 23rd, according to the big e-tailer. And odvdo shows that Doctor Who - The Complete 9th Series - a 4 disc set in either version - will be available starting April 5th. We don't have an official studio announcement yet, so these dates may not be finalized and could be subject to change. We also have no word yet from the BBC as to whether or not The Complete 9th Series will include any Christmas specials among the contents. We'll let you know as soon as the studio tells us, so stay tuned!
