Summary of Once Upon a Time Season 2 DVD Box Set

This season follows the introduction of magic by Rumplestiltskin/Mr. Gold into Storybrooke, leaving the fate of both the real world and the Fairytale Land that was, intertwined, resulting in new threats emerging.

Emma leads her newfound allies in an attempt to maneuver past the unfathomable consequences of magic in the Real World and Rumplestiltskin continues to fight Regina in a struggle for power. In the Fairy-tale world, Princess Aurora is awakened by her betrothed Prince Phillip, but Phillip and his warrior companion Mulan must face the deadly wraith. Emma, Snow White/Mary Margaret, and Prince Charming/David try to stop the wraith from taking Regina's soul. Emma saves Regina from being attacked by the wraith only to be forced through with Snow/Mary Margaret following because she didn't want to leave her again. They are sent through the Mad Hatter's hat and are transported to a part of the fairy-tale land whose inhabitants - including Aurora, Phillip and Mulan were spared from the Curse. Mulan and Aurora after laying Phillip to rest - find the two survivors, Emma and Snow/Mary Margaret, under a pile of debris and come to the conclusion that they are responsible for unleashing the wraith.
