Summary of  Burn Notice Seasons 1-6 DVD Boxset 

season 1

ichael helps his mother's friend, Laura (Elayne Wilks), a retiree who was scammed out of her life savings by a group of con artists. Michael tracks down, and then works his way into the con artist group, causing dissension among the ranks. He is able to convince head con artist Quinten (Mark Pellegrino) to give him the information to access the stolen accounts, and Michael returns all of the money. By successfully helping Laura, Madeline gives Michael a number that FBI agents had left her. The episode concludes with an anonymous voice congratulating Michael over the telephone.

season 2

Michael is planning to storm the heavily-guarded building where Carla may work when he is approached by an ex-con, Trevor (Maurice Compte), who has just been released from prison. After leading a criminal career specializing in driving get-away cars for heists, for the sake of his newborn son and his own past regrets, he now wants to escape the criminal life; however he has been recruited unwillingly to participate in a jewelry heist being planned by Timo (Oded Fehr).

season 3

Nate returns from Las Vegas to meet with an investor to expand his limo company, and is questioned by Detective Paxson, who tries to convince Nate to betray and reveal everything about Michael's private investigations. Although Nate remains firm and refuses, Michael and the team plan to get Paxson into trouble with the Mayor's office and make her break off her investigation.

season 4

Jesse, a recently burned spy, seeks Michael's help to escape a drug trafficker out for revenge for supposedly stealing money from him. He quickly becomes Friends with Michael and Fiona. However, Jesse does not know that Michael was the one who stole the files which led to Jesse being burned.

season 5

Michael and Sam try to rescue an ailing boy from his father (Jay R. Ferguson), who took the boy to a heavily armed compound. Elsewhere, Fiona and Jesse keep an eye on a day laborer Jacob Stark, who could be tied to Max's fate. After finding out Stark is innocent, the team also finds out that a bomb was placed in Stark's yacht, and Michael resolves to finding the bomb maker.

season 6

Tom Card offers Fiona a deal to become a CIA asset, which will get her out of prison and protect her from extradition, in exchange for helping the Agency bring down her old arms dealer, Greyson Miller (Wayne LeGette). Before he can carry out Card's mission, Michael must first protect Rebecca's criminal brother, Trent, from a mob boss (Rick D. Wasserman) who believes Trent is responsible for his father dying in prison.
