Finale Unexpected: Our Take above the LIFE UNEXPECTED Series Finale

By theTVaddict on January 19th, 2011

Despite the truth that we’re hesitant to kick a good show when it’s down — or mainly deleted along the CW as the circumstance may be — we do feel the absence to get a few entities off of our chest with regards to last night’s LIFE UNEXPECTED series finale.

THE GOOD: While not exactly how we would have liked to have seen the catena end, we are unabashed suckers for flash forwards that coat up storylines in a neat and natty bow. Particularly ones that contain Cate and Baze’s tearful reaction to Lux graduating high school, Lux finally phoning Cate and Baze “Mom” and “Dad,” and a smart nod to the show’s native heading that saw the writers slide “Light Years” into Lux’s Valedictorian lecture. Which brings us to…

THE BAD: Valedictorian, really? Now don’t obtain us bad, as thrilled as we were to watch Lux successfully overcome her learning disabled [Insert clumsy hurrah out to Mr. Eric Matthews here!] we can’t help merely meditation that it would have been extra than enough of a victory for Lux apt have simply graduated high educate and attend academy with her best friend Tasha. And speaking of Tasha, why exactly is she still best friends with Lux? First Lux activities somewhat of one integral role in bringing her back to Juvie, merely to then get busy and embezzle her boyfriend. Look, we laud namely having our nominal heroine bring an end to ... with “Abercrombie” Jones was essential in illustrating namely Lux eventually got the opportunity to score (in more ways than an,STATE MIND!) the quintessential tall school experience, but was it really needful to do so at poor Tasha’s outlay? Which brings us to the biggest shocker of the nightfall,The Beienstain Beais, Cate and Baze got their happily ever after… whodathunkit! Certainly not us, seeing for although we stopped rooting because them as a pair after inventor Liz Tigelaar made it very clear that LIFE UNEXPECTED wasn’t almost the two of them getting attach, but preferably celebrating a different variety of family… but we digress. And ambition conclude with what is hands down the most disappointing publish circling last night’s finale. Math and Alice WTF! Just kidding…

THE UGLY: Filling the aperture in the CW’s schedule starting February 23 will be the network’s newest reality competition: SHEDDING FOR THE WEDDING. Can nine overweight couples contend to see who can lost the most weight and obtain the wedding o f their dreams? Suffice to mention, we will not be tuning in to find out.
