Primeval (R1) in June

Buena Vista Home Entertainment have announced the Region 1 DVD release of Primeval for 12th June 2007 priced at $29.99 SRP. Based on the true tales of an African killer croc, Primeval follows the African adventures of a disgraced TV reporter played by Dominic Purcell (“Prison Break”), who treks to the Dark Continent with hopes of launching a career comeback on the scaly back of Gustave, a 20-foot crocodile with 300 human kills on his resume. Their difficult task turns insurmountable when they walk into the bull’s-eye of a local dictator.

Presented in anamorphic widescreen with English and Spanish DD5.1 Surround and optional French and Spanish subtitles, extras include “Croc-umentary: Bringing Gustave to Life”, lost Primeval footage, deleted scenes with an optional commentary by director Michael Katleman and optional feature-length commentary with Katleman and actor Orlando Jones.
