Untraceable Hacks Its Way Atop the DVD Sales Charts

It was a wide open week with three different movies taking each of the three different home video charts this week, and one of them was surely traceable by the buyers. Untraceable was the top seller on the DVD sales charts, for the week ending May 18. The cyber-thriller just narrowly beat out another newcomer for the top spot, Great Debaters which finished second on the sales charts.

The only other notable newcomer this week was Mad Money, but that was beat out by a classic character's return to the shelves. The new boxed set, Indiana Jones: The Adventure Collection, a three-disc set featuring all three previous Indy flicks, took the third spot on the sales charts.

On the rental side, Mad Money took the number one slot, with an estimated $7.3 million in rental revenue. Untraceable didn't finish too far behind in second with an estimated $6.9 million, while last week's top renter, P.S. I Love You came in third with $5.9 million and Great Debaters finished in fourth with $5.5 million.

Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe was the top seller on the high-def side as the top-selling Blu-Ray disc. Untraceable finished in second place.
