Finding Your Roots - 'Season 3' with LL Cool J, Neil Patrick Harris, Julianna Margulies, and More!

The journey of Professor Henry Louis Gates, Jr. continues as a series that will look at an ever-widening spectrum of our nation's fascinating ethnic mixture. Episodes include "The Stories We Tell," "The Irish Factor," "In Search of Freedom," "Tragedy - Time = Comedy," "Visionaries," "Family Reunions," "War Stories," "The Pioneers," "The Long Way Home," and "Maps of Stars."
Guests explored this season include Donna Brazile, Ty Burrell, Kara Walker, Bill O'Reilly, Bill Maher, Soledad O'Brien, Shonda Rhimes, Maya Rudolph, Keenen Ivory Wayans, Bill Hader, Jimmy Kimmel, Norman Lear, Richard Branson, Frank Gehry, Maya Lin, Sean Combs, LL Cool J, Patricia Arquette, John McCain, Julianne Moore, Sandra Cisneros, Neil Patrick Harris, Gloria Steinem, Lidia Bastianich, Julianna Margulies, Azar Nafisi, Dustin Hoffman, and Mia Farrow.
Season 1 hit DVD back in 2012 (with Samuel L. Jackson, Kevin Bacon, Robert Downey Jr., and Michelle Rodriguez, among others), and in late 2014 Season 2 was released (whose guests include Tina Fey, Ken Burns, Ben Affleck, Jessica Alba, and Stephen King).
Now, with PBS broadcasts of the third season underway (two episodes have already aired), it's being reported that Finding Your Roots - Season 3 will be available on DVD at general retail this coming April 12th. Priced at $39.99 SRP, the 10 episodes will include English subtitles, and come on 3 discs.
