Baa Baa Black Sheep (AKA Black Sheep Squadron) - 'The Final Season' is Apparently on Hold For Now

A bit over a month ago we had the heads-up that Baa Baa Black Sheep - Black Sheep Squadron: The Final Season was finally in-the-works for a DVD release!
It was welcome news, with a late-February date, and then in an update two weeks ago we brought you box art and word that the date was "finalized" for early March. Then, a few days later, we updated you again with word that the studio had pushed it back to May.
Unfortunately, not even that appears to be correct any longer. Shout! Factory's Timeless Media Group has, at this time, removed Baa Baa Black Sheep - Black Sheep Squadron: The Final Season from their current schedule of upcoming DVD releases. odvdo.com is no longer accepting pre-orders for the title, and the listing at Shout!'s online store has been removed entirely (see button links below). Our thanks to one of our readers, "Scott," for alerting us to this.
No word has been provided so far about the reason for this change...nor do we know whether this is simply another delay, or if it's an outright cancellation. We've reached out to ask the studio and asked, but given that it's the week of Christmas there is the possibility that we may have to wait until the new year before we get a response. We'll let you know as soon as we do, however, so stay tuned!
