The Bold Ones: The New Doctors - Bonus Material Revealed for 'The Complete Series'

A the beginning of this week, we reported that on March 1st, Shout! Factory's Timeless Media Group brand would release The Bold Ones: The New Doctors - The Complete Series on DVD. Now we've learned about what bonus material you can expect on this 9-DVD set, besides the 43 episodes of the show's run.

In September 1972, The Bold Ones: The New Doctors was preparing to debut its 4th and final season. At the same time, Ironside was getting ready for their own 6th season premiere (out of eight seasons in all). In the latter show, Raymond Burr famously starred as the wheelchair-bound detective, "Robert Ironside." The cast also included Don Galloway as "Det. Sgt. Ed Brown." The first episode of the new season of Ironside was called, "Five Days in the Death of Sgt. Brown, Part 1." Four days later, The New Doctors debuted their new season with the second half of the crossover story, "Five Days in the Death of Sgt. Brown, Part 2." Both episodes included guest appearances from cast of each others' shows, but also included guest Vic Morrow (Combat!, The Bad News Bears, Twilight Zone: The Movie).

Shout!/TMG has now announced that both parts of this story will be included on their upcoming DVD set, meaning that the Ironside episode is the included bonus! Sweet.
