Freaks and Geeks - Release Date for 'The Complete Series: Collector's Edition' Blu-ray

This past July, we reported on various then-upcoming TV-DVDs that Shout! Factory had mentioned on Twitter, following the studio's announcements of each project at the 2015 San Diego Comic Con. One of those projects - the only one still unreleased as of this writing, actually - was in fact a TV-BD, as Shout! said in their tweet that, "We're doing Freaks & Geeks on Blu!"

As of this moment, the studio hasn't formally announced it (although they might possibly do so later today...and if they do, we'll update this story, so please check back!). But our trusted retail industry sources inform us that Freaks And Geeks - The Complete Series: Collector's Edition on Blu-ray Disc will be released on February 23rd. Price will be $119.00 SRP. Keep in mind, since we didn't get that info straight from Shout!, that this might not be finalized yet, and could be subject to change (but we don't think so). Details and package art haven't been made available to us as of this writing, but stay tuned!
