Earlier this month we reported that True Detective - The Complete 2nd Season was being prepared for release on DVD and Blu-ray Disc, but we didn't have a street date at the time because HBO Home Entertainment hadn't announced the title yet. Now we've learned that the show's sophomore season - which features a completely different storyline and a new cast starring Colin Farrell, Vince Vaughn, Rachel McAdams and Taylor Kitsch - will make it into stores on January 5th.
