On January 19th, Universal Studios announced today, DVD and Blu-ray Disc versions will be released of the Syfy cable channel's popular new show, 12 Monkeys - Season 1. The program is based on the Terry Gilliam-directed 1995 theatrical film of the same name, which starred Bruce Willis, Madeleine Stowe and Brad Pitt. The television series stars Aaron Stanford, Amanda Schull, Kirk Acevedo, Noah Bean, and Emily Hampshire.
