Falling Skies - Plans for Both 'The Complete 5th Season' and 'The Complete Series'

In the wake of an alien attack that has crippled most of the world, shock has turned to resolve as the survivors gather to fight back. Leading the charge is Boston history professor Tom Mason (Noah Wyle), whose wife was killed in the attack, and one of his three sons is among a group of captive teens. Desperate to rescue his son, Tom joins forces with the 2nd Massachusetts, a makeshift regiment assigned to protect the survivors.
As second in command to Weaver, Tom uses his knowledge of military history to gain intelligence about the aliens and form a plan of attack. But the plan keeps changing and more questions surface as the survivors discover what they're really up against: a highly intelligent, heavily armed alien force whose purpose on Earth is the biggest mystery of all.
This past summer, from the end of June to the end of August, the TNT cable channel aired the 10 episodes of the show's final season, starring Noah Wyle (ER), Moon Bloodgood (Terminator Salvation) and Will Patton (Remember the Titans), among others. And now www.cheapdvdshops.com is taking pre-orders for a release of Falling Skies - The Complete 5th Season on both DVD and high-def Blu-ray Disc.
What's more, the big e-tailer is ALSO taking pre-orders for Falling Skies - The Complete Series, again both on DVD and high-def Blu-ray Disc. ALL of these listings are prior to the official Warner Home Video announcement for the title, though, so instead of a street date www.cheapdvdshops.com merely says "This title has not yet been released. You may pre-order it now and we will deliver it to you when it arrives."
Pricing is available, however, currently showing $39.98 SRP for the standard DVD and $44.99 SRP for the Blu-ray version of the final season set, and with the big Complete Series package they show $129.98 SRP for the DVD and $139.99 SRP on the Blu-ray option (you can, of course, guarantee your copy right away, if you order it using any of the above links). There are no other details available so far at www.cheapdvdshops.com 's entry, nor box art. We'll update you further on these two titles, of course, just as soon as we find out anything more!
