Summary of Cracked Season 1 DVD Box Set

Cracked follows the newly formed Psych Crimes Unit within a Canadian police department set up by psychiatrist Dr. Daniella Ridley (Stefanie von Pfetten) in partnership with the police. She is partnered with experienced SWAT officer Detective Aidan Black (David Sutcliffe) who, after legally killing suspects while on the job, is dealing with post-traumatic stress disorder. Together, they and their team deal with the overwhelming percentage of police calls that involve people with mental illnesses or psychiatric disorders - people from all demographics of society as they try and balance between protecting the public from harm and protecting the dignity of all citizens.
