Summary of Make It or Break It Seasons 1-3 DVD Box Set

Season 1

On their only day off, the girls are ordered back into the gym only to be called out by their new coach, Sasha, for going to the keg party the night before. Caught red-handed, Payson, Kaylie, Emily and Lauren are subjected to a day-long calisthenic boot camp to show what happens when they try to be just “ordinary”. In between all of the push-ups, pull-ups and rope climbs, the girls find themselves at each others' throat. Payson blames the girls for getting her into this mess; Emily needs to get to her job, but is stuck with girls who don’t even like her; a very hung-over Kaylie is distraught that she hasn’t heard back from Carter after their fight; and Lauren is agonizing over her one-night stand.

Season 2

Austin invites the girls to a party at his lake house. Kaylie tries to control the girls and tells Austin they won't go, but they all end up at the party anyway. Lauren tries to scare Chloe by telling her she'll get rid of her like she got rid of Summer. Sasha and Summer go on a date, which they mask as a business meeting when they run into Steve and Chloe. Summer influences Chloe to stop having sex with Steve at his house. Austin and Kaylie kiss. Lauren and Carter argue over her being so mean to Emily. At the end of the episode, Chloe catches Lauren and Carter in bed in the garage apartment.

Season 3

Some dreams come to an end as the girls compete in the semi-qualifications to make the official Olympics team. As the girls inch closer to final team selections‚ they must first pass the semi-qualifications. But that is easier said than done as they each face problems: Kelly must deal with her mom (special guest star Kathy Najimy) being in town and out for Kaylie's blood‚ Lauren stresses over Payson constantly warning her about her health‚ and there's a mole in the group‚ trying to sabotage the team. Meanwhile‚ Coach Mac's mandatory curfew puts a kink in Payson's love life.
